1. Eligibility
You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement (13 years, or higher where required by local law) to use Discord and, by extension, Saavan. By using the Bot you confirm you meet this requirement and that your use complies with Discord's Terms of Service and Discord's Community Guidelines.
2. Description of Service
Saavan allows Server members to search for, queue, and play audio (primarily music) in Discord voice channels, along with related utility commands (queue management, filters, playlists, etc., as available). Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without prior notice.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Saavan to:
- Violate any applicable law or Discord's Terms of Service / Community Guidelines
- Play or distribute content you do not have the rights or a valid license to distribute
- Spam, flood, or abuse voice channels, commands, or the Bot's infrastructure
- Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Bot's normal operation (rate-limit abuse, self-botting the Bot, denial-of-service attempts, etc.)
- Use the Bot for harassment, hate speech, or any content prohibited under Discord's guidelines
We reserve the right to suspend or block a Server or User's access to the Bot for violations of these Terms, at our discretion.
4. Third-Party Content & Copyright
Saavan retrieves audio from third-party platforms/APIs. We do not host or own this content. Playback is provided as a convenience, and rights to the underlying media remain with their respective owners. You are responsible for ensuring your use of played content complies with the source platform's terms and applicable copyright law. We will respond to valid takedown or rights-holder requests sent to the contact address below.
5. Availability
Saavan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, and the Bot may be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party API outages (Discord or music-source APIs), or other factors outside our control.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saavan and its developer(s) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Bot — including loss of data, moderation actions taken by your Server's own staff, or third-party content played through the Bot.
7. Termination
We may remove the Bot's access to a Server, or block a specific User from using commands, at any time if these Terms are violated. Server administrators may remove the Bot from their Server at any time by kicking it or revoking permissions.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Effective Date" above will reflect the latest revision.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
